Volunteers are the backbone of SAGE. Without volunteers, we wouldn't be able to offer many of the programs and services that are so important to enriching the lives of LGBT older people.

Volunteer Opportunities at SAGE

SAGE offers a variety of volunteer opportunities, including Friendly Visiting, Lend-a-Hand, event volunteering, clerical support, participation in a SAGE committees and other programs.

At present, SAGE's main volunteer opportunity is SAGEConnect. This program, which launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, pairs volunteers with SAGE participants for weekly phone calls. For more information about SAGEConnect, please click here.

Currently, in-person volunteer orientations are not taking place. Please check this page periodically for further updates on volunteer opportunities.
